The conference was held at the Medical University of Graz, Austria, Sept. 25-26, 2014. Research shows that employee health and performance are indispensably linked to working conditions. The first Austrian conference “fit4excellence” explores the question to what extent Austrian or German-speaking universities offer a working environment that facilitates excellent performance. Which parameters promote good working conditions? Which potentials can still be exploited under the given still be exploited?
