‘Catch Me If You Can’
Hard-to-reach target groups in occupational health management
The Network Health Promoting Universities Austria invited members and guests to attend its 2nd network meeting on 23.11.2016. Not all employees can be equally won over for activities in the field of health promotion: This conference was therefore dedicated to the “hard-to-reach target groups in health promotion”. In particular, target groups such as Generation Y, managers, apprentices, students, women in the low-wage sector and doctors in training tend to be difficult to reach and mobilize using the classic means of health promotion. The conference featured exciting and inspiring presentations by keynote speakers Bardia Monshi and Roman Diehl. Workshops took a closer look at the hard-to-reach target groups and presented and discussed successful strategies and best-practice models from companies and universities. A panel discussion with executives from business and academia impressively rounded off the program. The conference was aimed at health promotion experts and people interested in the topic.
